MREA shared their stories and honored them at the Awards Ceremony on Nov. 17, which kicked off MREA’s Greater Education Summit. The banquet was live-streamed and can be viewed here.
Each year, the MREA Board of Directors accepts and reviews nominations from four geographic zones in Minnesota and selects the an Educator of Excellence to honor in each zone. The award is given based on a nominee’s impact, innovation, leadership and collaboration.
“We’re blown away each year by the dedication, innovation and care shown by educators in Greater Minnesota. It’s the highlight of our year to spend time in the classrooms of each of our Educators of Excellence, seeing each of them build relationships with students and invest in students,” said Darrin Strosahl, MREA Executive Director. “We are honored to get to elevate these educators and programs, celebrating their incredible work.”
