From creating a DNA-approved school forest to using technology to improve third grade test scores, MREA Educators of Excellence are employing innovation to get better results in their classrooms in Greater Minnesota. Who will receive the 2017 Educators of Excellence?
Nominate an educator who’s driving innovation and excellence in rural Minnesota schools. Nominations must be received by April 14.
The 2017 Educators of Excellence will be honored at an awards banquet in November. MREA recognizes honorees who demonstrate:
- Positive impact on students and student achievement
- Leadership in the school, district and community
- Innovative and creative instructional practice that impact all students
- Collaborative efforts with fellow educators, parents, families and the community
Designed to recognize educators from all across Minnesota, the program honors one educator from each MREA member zone.
