The Stars of the North Chapter for Women in Aviation has six scholarships available for Minnesota girls to learn more about aviation, aerospace and team building at the National Flight Academy during a weeklong camp in Pensacola, Florida.
Students in grades 7-12 are eligible. The camp will run from June 17-22. Learn more about the aviation program.
The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition for camp. Students will be responsible for the cost of their transportation to the camp.

Winners will be selected upon submitting a one-page essay, sharing why the student became interested in aviation and how attending the camp will help the student achieve his or her goals. The essay needs to include the student’s name, age, grade and school attending. Essays may be sent to starsofthenorthwai@gmail.com
The deadline to submit an essay is March 5, 2018. Winners will be announced on March 10.
