What are you doing that’s innovative? Submit your work and you could be honored in January with an award and even $25,000.
The Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota is partnering with Association of MN Counties (AMC), the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC), the MN School Boards Association (MSBA), and InCommons to recognize creative ways counties, cities, and schools are making Minnesota better and doing things differently. Up to 18 local government entities will receive the 6th Annual Local Government Innovation Award for their innovative work. For the first time this year, Minnesotans can cast their vote to help determine the entrant that will receive $25,000 to continue local government innovation and redesign work.
Submissions are due by Nov. 2, 2012 and the recipients will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Jan. 16, 2013. The public will be able to vote on which project receives $25,000, starting Dec. 5, 2012.
How You Can Get Involved:
- ENTER the Awards. Submit your local government innovation work into the Awards for the opportunity to be recognized for your creative work.
- LEARN and SHARE about innovation and service redesign happening across the state.
- VOTE to determine the $25,000 grant winner.
