Board Recommends Legislative Platform
The MREA Board of Directors is recommending a legislative platform for the 2025 Minnesota Legislative Session. At the meeting, members will be asked to approve the platform with these key themes:
- Improve Teacher Compensation
- Fund What Has Been Mandated
- Close Funding Gaps
- Policy Flexibility, Not Mandates
Meet Your 2025 Board Candidates
Members at the meeting will also get to know rural education advocates vying for four open seats on the 2025 Board of Directors. Nine candidates have applied for openings in three of the four membership zones.
