The  deadline to apply for two Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP) programs is June 30. The purpose of the Small, Rural School Achievement (SRSA) program and the Rural and Low-Income School (RLIS) grant program are to provide rural LEAs with financial assistance to fund initiatives aimed at improving student academic achievement. Each of the programs has different eligibility criteria.

There are 140 Minnesota School Districts are eligible for REAP funding in 17-18.   School districts need to apply each year to receive SRSA grant funds.

Check the list to see which program your district is eligible for.  You may be eligible for both.

Upcoming Webinars

To provide additional assistance, the REAP Team will host SRSA Application Walk-Through Web Seminars. During these seminars, a REAP program officer will walk participant LEAs through the SRSA Application while the LEAs complete the application in Grants.gov.

Tuesday web seminars will be held from 3-4 pm, and Wednesday seminars will take place from 12-1 pm. You MUST register in grants.gov prior to the webinar.
