The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry plans to award up to five grants of amounts up to $100,000 for the Youth Skills Training (YST) program.
The YST Program seeks to help create local partnerships between industry and high schools to provide paid work experience and related classroom instruction for students ages 16-17.
Grant recipients will create work-based learning opportunities for students entering high-growth, high-demand industries.
Interested parties need to submit a letter of intent by April 5, 2018. Then applications are due May 4, 2018. Learn more and begin the application process.
