MREA announced today Diane Vosen as the new administrative coordinator. Diane brings more than 20 years of experience in communication, organizational management and special events to MREA. She previously worked with the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter, where she assisted with outreach and marketing, education program delivery, and special event coordination throughout 40 counties in western Minnesota. This included the coordination of Walk to End Alzheimer’s® events in Warroad, St. Cloud, and Willmar for more than 2,100 participants.
Prior to that, she developed and directed Great River Regional Library’s capital campaign to outfit the new St. Cloud Public Library, working with various boards and committees. She also directed communications and public relations for its 32 branches throughout six counties in Central Minnesota. Diane has been a strong community advocate, working with Land of Lakes Girl Scout Council and Bremer.
Diane earned a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Cloud State University.
She is a native of of Redwood Falls and currently resides in St. Cloud with her husband. They have two teenage sons and a daughter at UW-Madison. She has a passion for education and literacy, and enjoys reading, gardening and landscaping, hiking and camping.
Diane succeeds Cindy Gerber, who recently retired as MREA’s administrative assistant after 15 years of dedicated service.
