Is your school innovating to improve services or reduce the cost of local government? If so, share your innovation for a chance to win $5,000 and a professional video highlighting your effort in the 9th Annual Local Government Innovation Awards.
The Local Government Innovation Awards, sponsored by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, will recognize the creative ways counties, cities, townships, and schools are making Minnesota better and doing things differently. All types of local government innovation are encouraged to enter. Innovations could include, but are not limited to: collaborations, cross-sector partnerships, strategies to increase accountability, incentive programs, competitive contracting, restructuring service delivery, and prevention programs.
Up to 20 local government entities will be recognized as award winners for their innovative work. The application period is September 21-October 23. A free webinar is being offered September 22 explaining how to craft an award-winning application.
