The Minnesota Office of Higher Education will host a series of meetings that bring together local business, education and community leaders around the state’s educational attainment efforts.
- St. Cloud on Oct. 11, 9 am–Noon
- Moorhead on Oct. 17, 1–3 pm
- Rochester on Oct. 21, 8–10 am
- Mankato on Nov. 1, time TBD
These meetings aim to:
- Raise awareness of current educational attainment gaps that exist among whites and people of color and American Indians in the state
- Highlight the connections between attainment and workforce needs
- Listen to what regional stakeholders are doing in this space, what is working and what OHE can do to help local efforts
